BBAC celebrates with its team members and honors them.
Within the framework of its annual tradition, BBAC (Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries s.a.l.) held a gathering ceremony dedicated to the consolidation of the social relations among the employees.
The celebration was attended by the Chairman General Manager of BBAC, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf, the members of the board of directors, senior managers and heads of sections and branches, the bank's staff in Lebanon and abroad, and representatives of its subsidiaries.
At the opening of the ceremony, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf welcomed the employees wishing them a fruitful year and praising their tremendous efforts, contributions and unwavering commitment to BBAC. He then cited the achievements and CSR activities that have consolidated the bank's position in the Lebanese society and strengthened its performance during the last year.
Assaf also highlighted the projects that the bank has provided throughout the year to support the private sector in addition to the future expansion plans and enhancement changes that the bank will witness in 2013.
Afterwards, a short documentary film was played to share with the audience the results of the different activities that the bank has organized under it CSR program for 2012 and that have been partly funded by the employees themselves within internal fundraising campaigns while the other activities were implemented in partnership with UNDP's 'Live Lebanon' initiative.
Entertaining performances animated the ceremony followed by the distribution of cash amount and valuable prizes to the winners of the staff lottery. During the ceremony, the bank also paid tribute to a number of employees who have served BBAC for over 30 years in recognition of their professional efforts and dedication.
