On Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm Capstone Investment Group SAL ("Capstone"), a leading real estate development company, held a dinner at Train Station Lounge in Mar Mikhael to launch its latest project Mar Mikhael Village - a residential development that aims to transform the old Laziza Brewery into trendy lofts, designed by the visionary architect Bernard Khoury.

The elegant evening featured a presentation of the project and its various amenities in addition to live entertainment. The event was abuzz with around 500 distinguished guests, renowned politicians and media representatives interested to learn how the old brewery will be transformed into a commercial and residential development - a first of its kind in Lebanon and the region.

Mr. Ziad R. Maalouf, founder and CEO of Capstone, gave a detailed presentation of the project and introduced the related parties involved in bringing this project to fruition. Mr. Maalouf highlighted the uniqueness of this development and its distinguished architecture that embraces new-age Mar Mikhael living in all its glory. Mr. Maalouf then introduced Mr. Joseph Khawam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mar Mikhael Village SAL, the company that owns the project. Mr. Khawam explained how his grandfather, Georges Gellad established the Laziza Brewery in the early 1930's and how Mar Mikhael Village aims to continue the legacy and the heritage. Mr. Bernard Khoury concluded the presentation by explaining his vision behind this transformation and how he aims to maintain the fabric of Mar Mikhael neighborhood and to revive the heritage of the old brewery.

The musicians continued to play live background music until the event successfully concluded.
