The website of Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, was granted the "Golden Award" as the best website in the telecommunications sector during the tenth ceremony of Lebanon Web Awards organized by the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy in association with Microsoft and Business Software Alliance (BSA).
This award aims at encouraging companies across sectors to be creative in their websites and increase their level of commitment in the information technology field.
The website of Alfa (www.alfa.com.lb) was granted this award in recognition of the role it plays in communicating with Alfa subscribers and especially for its comprehensiveness in offering the means to facilitate service management for subscribers, and in providing all information related to the company especially the new services and offers it launches in the Lebanese mobile market. In addition, the award was granted to Alfa website because of the quality of the technology used in its design and the number of its visitors which reach more than one million per month making it among the top Lebanese websites in terms of number of visitors.
Alfa has received the award during a dinner ceremony that was held in Phoenicia Hotel under the patronage of the Chairman of the Information Technology Committee in the Lebanese Parliament, MP Samer Saade and in the presence of the President of the Academy and figures from different sectors. The competition honored a number of foundations from different sectors.
Alfa continuously aims through its website to keep its subscribers updated with all its activities and initiatives, in addition, to facilitating their access to Alfa services and enable their subscription in these services, which comes in line with the company's commitment to addressing the needs and requirements of its subscribers which mainly rely on the internet nowadays.
