The disruptions in the internet connectivity, that are unfortunately taking place successively these days, as announced by Ogero, are due to:
- Malfunctions that occurred on the submarine cable Alexandros owned by Cypriot operator CYTA, which connects the international Internet gateway in Cyprus to global Internet gateways in Marseille, France. Customers may experience internet disconnection, service degradation and delays.
- Complete outage of internet connectivity in the North and Akkar, due to Ogero's fiber cut in Ghazeer.
