2.The super moon gets its name for its proximity to earth, which makes it look a lot bigger and brighter than usual.
3.On average it is about 385,000 kilometers from the Earth, but at the perigee it is about five per cent closer.
4.The moon rotates the Earth in an oval shape, so there are times when it's closer to our planet.
5.And the moon won't look this big and bright again until 2034.
