For the third year in a row since its establishment in 2014, ONE LEBANON has officially announced its upcoming Annual Solidarity Concert that will take place on Friday, November 25 at BIEL during a Press Conference at the Phoenicia Hotel that gathered Minister of Tourism Mr. Michel Pharaon, ONE LEBANON Founder & President Soprano Tania Kassis, Spanish Ambassador Milagros Hernando, some celebrities that will participate in this year's concert like Walid Toufic, Nizar Francis, Anthony Touma, Silvio Chiha, Maritta Hallani, Pierre Rabbat, Marc Hatem, Omar Dean and Ghady Bechara, ONE LEBANON Board Members, volunteers, friends and supporters.
The date of November 25 was deliberately chosen by ONE LEBANON as a celebration of Lebanon's independence and the theme chosen "تيبقى الإستقلال عيد " is a message of hope targeting the youth; yet inclusive of all the Lebanese generations.
Pierre Rabbat mastered the ceremony with a touching introductory word on how ONE LEBANON worked hard to unite at a time when Lebanon needed it the most. Then Tania Kassis spoke of "the timing of this year's concert that is particularly important at a time when Lebanon is celebrating a new president after 2 years of void. ONE LEBANON is not a political party or movement, so we hope that every politician will become ONE LEBANON".
Tania Kassis mentioned that this year's concert profits will be offered like every year to the children of the Lebanese Army Martyrs and expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism for its support to ONE LEBANON, and thanked Minister Elias Bou Saab for sharing the same educational responsibility and patriotic vision of ONE LEBANON by encouraging schools to participate in this national celebration and highlighting the new ONE4ONE initiative wereyoungsters are encouraged to sponsor disadvantaged kids by buying additional bracelets that will be distributed by the Ministry of Education.
Minister Pharaon thanked Tania for her pioneering spirit of having united Lebanon over the past years, at a time when this type of dialogue was most needed. 'Now that we have a president, and hopefully a government before Independence Day, we have every right to fully celebrate this day."
At the end of the conference, Tania Kassis invited the celebrities present to address the public.
After the success of last year's concert that drew an audience of 10,000 and over 30 celebrities, this year's stage will welcome Walid Toufic, Moeen Shreif, Michel Fadel, Tania Kassis, Ziad Bourji, Aline Lahoud, Naji Osta, Saad Ramadan, Re-Mi Bendali, Mike Massy, Maritta Hallani , Marc Hatem , Nemr Abou Nassar, Nizar Francis, Yourself El Khal, Pierre Rabbat, Pamela el Kik, Wissam Saliba , Grace Ayanian, Mirva Kadi, Ghady Bechara, Joseph Hoayek, Nicolas Mouawad, Omar Dean, Charbel Ragy, Sylvio Chiha and Zeina Daccache, all joining the ranks of the ONE LEBANON ever-growing family.
