Guidentity project, winner of the Mount Lebanon Young Entrepreneur Competition, in collaboration with prestigious partners, recently launched their organization in March 2016, in Beirut Lebanon. Guidentity, led by group of historians, archeologists, researchers and teachers,aims at inspiring new generations to expand their cultural horizons and gain a new perspective on history, archeology and tourism on the local and international level.
With a deep understanding of past civilizations and an opportunity of developing the cultural assets of our present civilization, Guidentity creates customized guided tours in Lebanon and other countries which are charged with interactive learning experiences.
Hassan al Akra, Managing Partner and Dr. in Archeology, said, "Guidentity is a passion turned into a profession. Believing in the importance of this initiative, we have allocated our welfares into three main groups targeting students and teachers, families and friends, tourists and expats. We aim at helping people experience the beauty, richness and diversity of this country by building lifelong memories."
Programs are adapted to different audiences, age groups and backgrounds. They are based on authentic, hands-on experiential learning combining leisure, education, culture and eco-tourism. Programs could be limited to or a combination of:
- Cultural, historical & ecotourism tours: covering archeological sites, grottos, museums, cultural sites and natural reserves.
- Engaging Workshop: including craft activities such as mosaics, painting, and pottery, activities with local communities, culinary arts agro-tourism and more.
- Trainings & programs: designed to share our knowledge and train teachers and professionals in the field covering several topics from which citizenship, cultural heritage, archeology and history, civilizations and more
Guidentity places a special focus on history, archeology, nature, heritage, and entertainment as Lebanon and the region present a cultural blend, rich in archeological and historical sites. As such, Guidentity works at connecting to culture,while promoting and creating a cultural diversity and exchange.
