It is an initiative from DOMUS Academy and NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle arti Milano, ITaly,(both dedicated to design, architecture , fashion, digital arts, visual arts) that the famous architect Gianandrea Barreca and the Course Leader in Luxury Brand Management Marie Pierre Schickel were in Lebanon for an inspiring afternoon of lectures.

Marie Pierre Schickel, Head of the Business Cluster and Course leader at DOMUS ACADEMY for the master in Luxury Management, talked about "The changing paradigms in the luxury world" 

Gianandrea Barreca, former Course Leader at DOMUS ACADEMY for the master in Urban Vision and Architectural Design, architect and urbanist talked about "Artificial vs Natural: an opportunity for the future of architecture through his famous project "Bosco Verticale"in Milan where he tried to reintegrate nature in a the city of Milan.

The concept of "Bosco Verticale" was to build towers with a huge density of trees in them,  so it  is composed of two towers of 76 m and 110 m in the Porta Nuova district in Milan; they host almost 480 big trees, 250 smaller ones and 11000 plants on the ground a way to reintegrate nature in the city.

This is a unique example of sustainable architecture where plants and materials used reduce 30% of the energy use in the towers, reducing noise, filter particules had written the specialized press at the time.

In Between the two conferences, alumnis were present and talked about their experience during their master studies at DOMUS and NABA, sharing with future students the experience of studying in Milano and what they have become now.
