Rotana, one of the leading hospitality management companies in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, appointed Ursula Chidiac as the General Manager of the Kin Plaza Arjaan by Rotana that recently opened in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, making its long-awaited debut in the African Continent.
Chidiac is a veteran in hospitality management know-how, having more than 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry and hotel management, given that she has worked with high-profile hotels in London, Doha, Amman, Aqaba and Beirut, such as Le Meridien Waldorf and Phoenicia Intercontinental. Her joining the Rotana family is not much of a recent event, given that she played a crucial role in the inauguration of City Center Doha and Orex Rotana, and that she was previously appointed as the General Manager of "Hazmieh Rotana".
On the occasion, Mr. Joseph Coubat, the area vice-president of the Rotana Group in Qatar, Lebanon, Kuweit, Turkey, Democratic Republic of Congo, Syria, and the Groups's General Manager in Gefinor and Rotana Beirut hotels said: "We hope that the hotel's inauguration will further develop the hospitality industry in Kinshasa, and will be a launching pad for other prominent projects to promote our guests' comfort and wellbeing."
