Bellevue Medical Center (BMC) was honored to host the Orthopedic Arab Board Examination over a two-day event on April 17th and 18th. The latter was made possible through the relentless efforts of Dr. Johnny Abdelnour, head of the Orthopedic Arab Board Committee, and Prof. Ghassan Maalouf, VP for Medical Affairs at BMC. For the occasion, BMC hosted 12 regional orthopedic examiners with international reputation, among which three Lebanese - Dr. Nadim Afeiche, Dr. Falah Bachour and Dr. Firas Atallah - who assessed 53 physicians from the region at the BMC premises, via workshops, hands-on live techniques, case discussions and more.
With this event, BMC proved its great support to the Arab Board for Health Specializations (ABHS), which, since its foundation in 1978 aims to improve health services in the Arab world by raising the level of scientific and medical practice in various disciplines, through offering regular training programs and high level certifications in various medical specialties.
