Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) announced the arrival of theirnewest smartphone, the Huawei Y7 Prime. The new device adopts a bold new design and craft based on its 5.5-inch display. Featuring a metal body combining both durability and lightness, the Huawei Y7 Prime gives an uncompromising touch experience.
The rondure of the 2.5D glass perfectly links the screen with the body, giving the impression of a floating display when the screen is turned on. The whole rondure design, sandblasted surface, and embossed camera edge is as brilliant to look at as it is to touch.
The Huawei Y7 Prime is equipped with Operating System EMUI 5.1 featuring a brand new redesigned interface, resulting in the completion of 90% of core operations in just 3 steps. The device comes with a new technicality "Huawei Share" that allows the user to share files between Huawei phones and pads quickly and easily. The EMUI 5.1 has an integrated security system for the phone which can detect and handle fraudulent messages and filter them. It also offers "privacy space" enabling users to install all applications and files freely, and also has new features including the Eye Comfort Mode which filters the blue light and provides relief to visual fatigue.
With the Huawei Y7 Prime's 4000mAh high-density battery, users can enjoy the phone for longer periods of time. The phone is equipped with the PowerSave5.0 technology, enabling it to save energy by 7% more compared to the previous 4.0 Generation extending its use by 2 to 3 hours. The Huawei Y7 Prime comes with 3 GB of RAM allowing users to easily run several applications simultaneously. The device has a 32 GB of storage and the external memory can be expanded to reach 128 GB using a microSD card, giving users the chance to easily download and copy videos, game and applications and an 8 Corex-A53 CPU Snapdragon boosting super performance. Huawei Y7 Prime gets the new generation of the multifunctional Fingerprint Sensor to identify the fingerprint and unlock the smartphone in 0.2 seconds. The sensor equipped with a waterproof layer can also be used to snap photos, turn off the alarm, answer calls, browse through photo gallery and other functions.
Thedimensions of the Huawei Y7 Prime's are 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.35 mm, andthe phone features a 5.5-inch IPS In-cell display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 HD providing users with a unique experience when watching a video or playing games. The device has a sleek design with 8.35ml depth, metallic body with rounded edges, making the phone slim, adding a soft touch feel.
The device also features F2.2 aperture lens 12-megapixels rear camera equipped with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology for laser auto focus, allowing the camera to focus with impressive speed not exceeding 0.3 seconds. The pixel size is 1.25 micron helping the camera add more light-sensing surface to capture clear photos with sharp details. The device is equipped with an 8 megapixel front camera, F2.0 aperture, supporting beauty mode Beautiful Skin 3.0 to snap the most beautiful and clear selfies. The Huawei Y7 Prime is available in Lebanon as of July 2017 in grey, silver and gold colors.
