"Message de Paix" NGO, which takes care of people with special physical or mental needs, held its annual dinner at Le Royal Hotel - Dbayeh on Thursday the 27th of July 2017 under the patronage of the Archbishop Guy Boulos Njeim and the presence of the Papal Ambassador Gabriel Kashia, the Minister of Social Affairs Pierre Abou Assi, the Bishop Boulos Rouhana (the Patriarchal Vicar for the Maronite Diocese of Sarba), his Eminence Bishop Samir Mazloum, and Father Nicolas Riachi representing the Bishop of Beirut and Jbeil and its dependents of the Melkite Greek Catholics, in addition to former ministers, heads and members of more than 15 municipal councils, electors, and a large number of attendees.
The ceremony began with a welcoming speech by the journalist Rebecca Abi Nader, and speeches were given by the patron of the dinner, the Papal Ambassador and the Minister of Social Affairs, and some friends of the Foundation (Sister Gracia Magezi and Mr. Joe Hatem) shared their stories.
The dinner was marked by an artistic program with Anthony & Magdalena, as well as an expressive dance presented by Ms. Pascal Hatem and Mr. Raed Murad.
Appreciation shields were given to Mr. Ibrahim Salibi for his ongoing bids and to the Rotary Club of Baabda for supporting the project of setting up the kitchen operator in the association.
Finally, a cake was cut to mark the 20th anniversary since the foundation of the association. All the donors and supporters ofthe success of this work were thanked.
