The Academic Forumcovered a wide variety of topics such as Sparking Innovation in the Engineer of Tomorrow, 5G: From Theory to Practice, LabVIEW as a Common Language, Preparing your Students for Careers in Power Electronics, Micro-Photonic Sensors Based on Whispering Gallery Mode Resonators, etc. Alongside the presentation bywinners of the Graphical System Design (GSD) Musabaka Contest, Dawood University from Pakistan, for their Project 'Smart Healthcare Unit & Automated Medicine Dispenser Using NI myRIO'.
The Industrial Forum, in parallel, also included sessions such as Connecting LabVIEW to Industrial IoT Platforms, Software Denied Radio for Optical Wireless Communications, Essential Features of LabVIEW NXG for Automated Test, etc.
The event was successful in highlighting the key technology trends in the Lebanon market and also providing a platform to engineers and students to connect and discuss the primary engineering challenges to create a better tomorrow.
