Mimi Choi's makeup art is as spectacular as it is terrifying, as she specializes in illusion makeup like 3-D snake lip art and gorier fare. And just in time for Halloween, she's debuted one of her most mind-blowing looks yet: A faceless void.
Did anyone else just jump back a bit from the screen? Choi's bizarrely beautiful look might seem like something ripped from an internet tall tale, but in actuality, it's all done with makeup. And yes, that's her face under there!
While you might just think she's taking inspiration from Halloween weirdness and horrors in general, she actually had a specific reference: Salvador Dalí's sculpture Surrealist Newton. (Like Sir Isaac, given the apple.)
In addition to all of that, her copy/paste look is plenty surreal!
