Beirut Souks launched its A'maze'ing Christmas program for end-of-year activities with a blaze of all around festive lighting and an enchanting forest ambience.
The magical atmosphere begins on Imam Ouzai square, with a 215-natural Tree Maze that extends two labyrinthine experiences interlinked by a distinctive light tunnel.
At the other end of the Souks, visitors can explore with their cameras two Infinity Rooms with reflective internal walls and dazzling lights that offer a kaleidoscopic sensory journey. The two light spaces stand on FakhryBey mirroring their surroundings. Nearby, a six-meter-high Christmas tree shines down on Ajami Square.
In the Jewelry Souk, Khan Al Joukh - a Solidere initiative supporting and promoting a collective of young designers and craftsmen continues to welcome interested crowds.
Planet Discovery will host a number of festive activities starting December 22 until January 7, from 9am to 6pm, including children construction works and puppet shows among other interesting and interactive animations.
Under the cover of the season's thematic, Souk El Akel's Christmas edition invites you to a savory culinary experience on FakhryBey from 5pm to 12am daily (from 12pm to 12am on public holidays), which will continue past New Year's Eve celebrations until January 6.
Finally, the 'green' 12 Days of Christmas launched in Souk Arwam continues until December 24, daily from 3pm to 7:30pm (from 11am on public holidays). An environmentally conscious initiative, the event offers children of all ages a chance to craft toys from recycled material, decorate trees, and hand make a number of other objects.
Beirut Souks invites you to enjoy these and other daily scheduled activities in celebration of Christmas and the New Year.
