In order to promote ICT industry technology certification, top universities in Lebanon have participated in the "Huawei ICT Skill Competition Middle East 2017". This promotion program aimed at spreading advanced ICT technologies and information to university students, and cultivate ICT talents with practical skills. ICT has become a core force for technological innovation and economic growth, driving the transformation of society in the 21st century.
At the end of the competition, the Arab Open University was awarded the " Excellent University" Award due to the participation of Msc student Mr. Joe El Housseini who represented the university in this competition.
