As per its annual Mothers' Day Luncheon tradition, touch, the leading mobile operator managed by Zain Group, offered an indulgent lunching experience at the Four Seasons Hotel on March 19th, in honor to motherhood and the role of active mothers in society, mainly those working in the press. In addition to main media figures, touch had the pleasure to welcome Mrs. Paula Sehnaoui, telecoms minister's wife, among the guests, along with mothers in the Telecom Ministry and touch.
Speaking at the event, the Corporate Communications and Relations Manager at touch, Ghada Barakat, stated: "Year after year we get together on this date to remind everyone of the leading role in society of working woman and to celebrate her various accomplished "miracles". As a mother, her first accomplishment is the miracle of giving birth. Women have continuously proven their success in various situations and their capability in overcoming life's obstacles. They have taken leading roles in several economic and social fields in Lebanon, especially in media and journalism. The working mother has proven her capability at accomplishing various tasks across various fields."
Barakat clarified that Mother's Day is an international occasion to celebrate the achievements and efforts of mothers and remind of the difficult balance between motherhood, a career and the resulting challenges.
