Dr Layla Lahoud, founder of lifeyear clinic,hosted a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the second branch of lifeyear clinic in Lebanon.

The new facility, located in the heart of the city on Sami Solh avenue will offer the same services available at Kaslik clinic since 2014: genetic testing for all kinds of diseases, nutrition and fitness coaching, anti-aging facial skin treats, and regenerative cell therapies.

Dr Layla Lahoud, pathologist and anti-aging practitioner, clarified to the visitors the role of preventive medicine. Preventive medical care consists of three pillars:

- Disease risk prediction based on genetic testing

The preventive genetic test is done on a saliva sample and allowsto predict the risk category for every individual with respect to a specific disease. DNA analysis will identify both the "good" and "bad" genes which will help personalize the preventive approach in a way to turn on the protective genes and turn off the bad ones.
