Huawei celebrated mother's day through a booth that was dedicated for the public and their mothers from the 16th through the 25th of March at Beirut Souks. The first weekend witnessed live performances, interviews, contests, photos, and lots of beautiful selfies. Radio stations covered the three first days where a competition was taking place and people were answering questions about their moms and the technology, for a chance to win gifts including three Huawei Mate 10 lite devices.
Saturday March 17 and Sunday March 18 saw not one but two celebrities who visited Huawei booth and took selfies in the Huawei Mate 10 lite to celebrate Mother's Day. The lovely Carla Haddad and Dalida Khalil were both present during the weekend's exciting activities.
On Saturday, Carla Haddad was accompanied by her adorable daughter to the booth event at Beirut Souks where she answered few questions about her relation with her daughter live on the radio. Then they took stunning selfies using the Huawei Mate 10 lite while spending fun moments choosing between the AR filters. Fans also got the opportunity to meet with Carla and take pictures with her and her daughter.
On Sunday, after the fans swarmed around Dalida to take photos and introduce their daughters to her, an interview took place asking Dalida about her mom's usageof social media. Dalida agreed that a perfect Mother's Day gift would be a phone because in this age, moms are catching up with trends. Then,Dalida gifted her mom a Huawei Mate10 lite, offering her the best device to take beautiful pictures, with fun and entertaining filters.
They ended theirvisitto the booth with many amazing shots taken with the Huawei Mate 10 lite. There was a selfie session for all guests using the stunning phone and a competition giving them a chance to win a new phone for their mom on Mother's Day!
