Beiruting tried the Oppo F7, an android smartphone released in April 2018, to test its features firsthand and see if it keeps its promise. The depth effect was also a click away, and it gave the same result as a professional camera, where we (or our object of intent) were the focus and the background was blurred. The phone's 25MP camera supports 16 scenes and objects ranging from sunset to night, portrait to scenery and even dog to cat, and its overall performance proves an 80% improvement over the F5.

What we loved about Oppo F7 is the lightweight body that made it much easier to carry but at the same time wasn't prone to slipping from the hand due to its slightly protruding screen with respect to the border, and we also felt that we were maximizing the use of this phone due to its large screen. We tried the Diamond Black color and loved its unique glossy design where the back cover allowed subtle light play when viewed from different angles, and the phone is also available in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver. The F7 has 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and the F7 128 GB version contains double the Rom with a 6GB RAM, and uses AI Recognition Technology to distinguish 128 facial points to identify the user's face for a speedy unlock. We noticed that it is fast to load applications, easy to multitask and were happy with the large memory. The specific points for facial recognition also made us feel secure in knowing that only we were able to unlock the phone and not a lookalike or a picture of us held to face to the phone.
