Opening ceremony of Apple Education Conference

Eastwood College hosted the first Apple Education conference under the patronage of the Ministry of Education at the 4 Seasons Hotel in Downtown Beirut.

Eastwood College's 40 year history was recognized by educational leaders such as Mr Fadi Yarak, Pere Selim Daccache, Dr Joseph Jabra, Mrs. Hiam Sakr, and heads of Business and Education departments across the region.

Eastwood College director, Mr. Michel Amine Khoury explained the process of how he lead the executed the vision of implementing the full iPad program and took the audience on a digital tour of what the program entails. Apple Distinguished Educator, Oscar Stringer was the keynote speaker on this occasion and explained the benefits of technology in classroom learning.

Eastwood College will be hosting its second Apple Education Conference in the coming months to encompass other schools and business institutions.
