DIAGEO, the global leader in beverage alcohol, in collaboration with SADER, a legal Knowledge Nexus, since 1863 announces the launch of AleKSy: the Alcohol Legal Knowledge System during the Whisky Live Beirut exhibition.

This initiative reinforces DIAGEO MENA’S continued commitment to the Lebanese market and its ongoing support for the responsible development of the beverage alcohol industry. To mark the launch, DIAGEO hosted an exclusive gathering at the ALeKSy Booth on the first day of Whisky Live, welcoming a select group of media representatives, key opinion leaders, and partners.

The setting offered a relaxed and engaging atmosphere for guests to experience the platform, enjoy Diageo’s signature hospitality, and connect with peers from across the industry.

Developed by SADER in collaboration with DIAGEO MENA, ALeKSy represents the first-of-its-kind multimedia legal platform specializing in Alcohol Law within the Middle East. The initiative responds to the growing need for comprehensive alcohol awareness and legal education in the region.

Through an extensive digital database, ALeKSy provides access to policies, laws, regulations, industry insights, government positions, legal opinions, case decisions, and expert analyses related to the Total Beverage Alcohol (TBA) industry. Moreover, the platform is distinguished by its integration of an advanced artificial intelligence system that facilitates legal search, extraction, and analysis, ensuring precise access to information.

Beyond its digital scope, ALeKSy is designed as a movement to promote knowledge, ensure accessibility, and foster engagement across stakeholders. It aims to establish Alcohol Law Labs at universities, organize conferences, roundtables, and webinars, and ultimately contribute to drafting a comprehensive legal and regulatory framework tailored to the Total Beverage Alcohol sector in Arab and GCC countries.
