Award presented at gala dinner hosted in Crans-Montana to recognize outstanding alumni on the occasion of the School's 60th anniversary
Rotana's President and CEO Omer Kaddouri was recognized by Switzerland's prestigious Les Roches International School of Hotel Management with an Innovation Award for his outstanding contributions to the hospitality industry. The award was presented at a gala dinner and alumni awards ceremony held on the sidelines of "Breaking Boundaries in Education", a conference hosted by Les Roches to celebrate its 60th anniversary which brought together global leaders in the hospitality industry.
Kaddouri, a 1986Les Roches graduate, was recognized for his many initiatives involving the retention and succession plans for Rotana's talent. One of his major accomplishments is the TAROT Programme (The Accelerated Refinement of Talent), which targets ambitious college or university graduates as well as passionate existing colleagues whom Rotana believes have a bright future. Since graduation, Kaddouri has gained a wealth of experience in various fields of hotel management and has worked with many international chains.
Under the leadership of Kaddouri,Rotana,has aggressively embraced customer-driven smart technology to enhance guest convenience and comfort at its properties,introducing a number of innovative ways that allow guests to use smart devices to speed up the decision-making and booking process while cutting down on administrative tasks related to registration and payments.Guests at several Rotana properties can now check-in online via rotana.com and the Rotana Mobile App, and can also avail of the Tablet Check-In and Check-Out service. Additionally, Rotana has introduced an online Restaurants and Table Management System that centralizes guests' profiles, allows social media integration, email and SMS reservation confirmations, and integrates with popular restaurant booking sites.
