The spotlight at the Grand Egyptian Museum’s highly anticipated opening last weekend extended beyond the historic venue to Lebanese designer Fouad Sarkis (@fouadsarkisofficial), whose custom creations drew widespread attention.
Regional stars and Olympians attended the celebration honoring Egypt’s cultural legacy, many dressed in Sarkis’s elegant designs inspired by iconic Egyptian figures.
Styled by Mai Galal and Khaled Azzam, the event showcased a blend of tradition, fashion, and artistry. Highlights included a moving speech by Yasmina El-Abd and a performance by Shereen Ahmed, who appeared in stunning gowns by Nour Azazy Couture.
