Farah Nakhoul Returns With “Machghoul,” a Romantic Lebanese Single Exploring Love, Longing and Uncertainty

    19 august 2026
Lebanese singer Farah Nakhoul unveils her latest single, “Machghoul,” a romantic Lebanese-language track that captures the emotional tension of waiting for someone who seems increasingly distant.

“Machghoul” Is written and composed by Charbel Boustany arranged by Alexandre Missakian, and recorded at Notta Studio.

It is a romantic song that explores the longing, questions, and emotional uncertainty that can surface when communication fades within a relationship.

The release is accompanied by a visualizer filmed by Pierre Mouarkech. Rather than following a traditional music-video format, the visualizer focuses on spontaneity, emotion, and imagery, extending the song’s intimate narrative into a distinctive visual experience.

For Farah, the appeal of “Machghoul” lies in its simplicity and relatability. “I loved the simplicity of ‘Machghoul’ and the way it allows everyone to experience it in their own way, according to the feelings and emotions it evokes. The visualizer was also a particularly personal and rewarding experience for me as I was involved in the creative process. I hope it reaches the audience with the same sincerity and emotion, and that everyone who listens to it finds a feeling that is close to the heart or a situation they have experienced.”

“Machghoul” is available now across all major streaming platforms and the visualizer is streaming on Farah Nakhoul’s official YouTube channel.
