The platform is also adding new tools for sounds, as users can now cut, trim and set the duration for sounds they use in the videos. You can also now add sound effects.
Earlier this month, the Financial Times reported that TikTok will sign a deal with Los Angeles-based TalkShopLive to launch its live shopping platform.
The two entities had not finalized the arrangements, and no agreement has been signed. The report also suggests that TikTok plans to outsource its operations in North America.
