On December 17, the TAKREEM Foundation held its annual fundraising concert at MusicHall Beirut, marking a new edition of Shining Stars of Hope, the initiative launched in 2023 to support Lebanon’s artistic community. The evening brought together a live band and more than 30 singers, performers and musicians for a carefully curated program celebrating artistic expression, resilience, and solidarity.
Proceeds from the concert will be allocated to support 100 Lebanese artists, as well as Les Restaurants du Cœur au Liban, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to both cultural preservation and humanitarian assistance for vulnerable families.
The program featured performances that moved across music, theatre, spoken word, and movement, reflecting the diversity and depth of Lebanon’s cultural heritage. Participating artists included the great voice Jahida Wehbe and around her, young emerging talents Aya Abi Kanaan, Nariman Abou Rahal, Johny Aouad, Kevin Bou Nassif, Cosette Chedid, Bouchra Hachem, Samir Karam, Patrick Khalil, Daria Leyla, Shana, Fidel Zreibi, and One Harmony by Tania Kassis Academy. Mazen Kiwan made a special appearance with Sahar Abou Khalil. Each contribution added a distinct voice to an evening shaped by purpose and collective responsibility.
The sold-out event welcomed supporters of the arts, cultural figures, and philanthropists who gathered in shared recognition of the role artists play in shaping collective memory and identity. Once again, Shining Stars of Hope demonstrated how collaboration between artists, institutions, and the public can translate solidarity into tangible impact.
In parallel, the initiative continues to grow through an online fundraising campaign developed in collaboration with META and audited by Alexandria Trust, ensuring transparency and sustainability in its support mechanisms. Financial support collected throughout the year will be distributed discreetly, addressing essential and urgent needs.
