Positive thinking, inspiring role models and art can have a priceless impact on children. During the Abraham foundation visit to Lebanon with Thomas Abraham hosting the world famous artist Romero Britto, TEACH A CHILD organized an art day at the Ashrafieh public school in Getawi with the presence of the representative of ministry of Education, to enhance the students experience at school, spreading hope with art & colours. TEACH A CHILD invited Thomas Abraham & the world-renowned artist, Romero Britto to give students an interactive life and art lesson. This was an enriching opportunity for these underprivileged students, who are attending school thanks to TEACH A CHILD's life-changing support, to embrace positivity, hope and optimism through education.

Brazilian born artist Romero Britto, self-taught at an early age, painted on scraps of paper or cardboard or any medium he could find before coming into his own & creating an iconic style exuding warmth, optimism and love. His works using bright colours, attractive patterns, pop art, graffiti and cubism has inspired millions around the world and now he has inspired TEACH A CHILD students.

During the interactive event Britto shared his story and fascinated the students engaging them painting on a large canvas. They were not only moved by his motivating story but also got to express their own perceptions of positivity, optimism and happiness on smaller canvases. Members of TEACH A CHILD commented that "many children feel limited by their circumstances and so it is very important to spread positivity and hope to encourage them to work towards achieving their dreams and reaching their goals. Britto's life story is therefore the perfect inspiration for a brighter future".
