    UCMAS Competition Unesco May 13 2017

    Under the patronage of HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Mr. Marwan Hamadeh, PLC, the exclusive agent of the global company UCMAS, organized the 4th national competition in Lebanon for the students of the Educational UCMAS program; which is concerned with developing the children's minds and activating their mental capacities.

     

     

    The ceremony was held on the 13th of May 2017 at the UNESCO Palace, attended by the Minister of Education Mr. Marwan Hamadeh represented by Mr. Mohamad Al Jamal, President of the Educational Zone in Beirut, and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Mr. Gebran Bassil represented by Mr. Elie Salloum; Briegadier General Joseph Aoun, Chief Commander of the Lebanese Army represented by General Mohamad Al Jebbawi, and General Tony Mansour, director of the Lebanese Army Intelligence, represented by Lieutenant Colonel Ramzi Najjar, the General Secretary of the Future Movement Sheikh Ahmad Al Hariri, from the Ministry of Education Mrs. Sonia El Khoury Director of Cultural Affairs, the President of the Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association Mr. Amine Al Daouk, Sheikh Ali Zein el Dine President of Irfan Establishment represented by Mr. MazenGhannam, President of the Lebanese Scouting Federation Mr. Joseph Khalil, Ehmej Mayor Mr. NazihAbiSemaan, as well as the owners and principals of schools, private and public institutions and workers in the field of education.

     

     

    A Malaysian delegation which came from Malaysia to Lebanon also took part in supervising the competition, which included Dr. Dino Wong President and Founder of the Global UCMAS Program, represented by Ms. Yap Jin Li.

     

     

    An introductory film showcased the local and international competitions and another film about Professional Learning Center displayed its various educational and training programs, and its branching in more than 8 Arabian countries.

     

     

    The speeches included:

    -Ms. Yap Jin Li, on the behalf of Dr. Dino Wong, President and Founder of UCMAS-Malaysia

     

     

    The national competition commenced with 600 qualified students out of thousands of other UCMAS students from different Lebanese cities. Only 13 students out of them won, hence PLC will be taking charge of their travel expenses and stay in Bali-Indonesia, to enable them to represent Lebanon and participate in the international competition which includes 72 participating countries, organized by the UCMAS Corporation in 9/12/2017. Moreover, the ceremony included the distribution of shields and prizes to the winners.

     

     

    The Speech of Dr. Dino Wong:

    After Dr. Dino Wong explained what the international UCMAS Corporation represents, and its unique programs, which are being taught in 72 countries around the world, he praised the high standards of the Lebanese UCMAS students, and was impressed with the exclusive franchisee's work in Lebanon which holds international specifications. He also clarified the because of UCMAS' outstanding successes, it has faced and still is facing piracy and copying attempts, which already happened in Lebanon. Therefore we are depending on the Lebanese Judicial System to issue fair judgments against the program's imitators in Lebanon.

    The CEO, being the organizer of the competition, gave a speech which consisted of thanking HE minister of Education and Higher Education, Mr. Marwan Hamadeh, the previous ministers, and the administrative body of the Ministry of Education for their ongoing support and for the circulars that were issued to implement the program within the school curriculum, in private and public schools.

     

     

    He also congratulated the winning students and praised the high standards of educational institutions and the integration between them and the UCMAS program which helped it spread across various schools that implemented it within their curriculum providing students with a great help at the level of mind development, promptitude, and stimulating the memory.  Thus, Lebanon has become one of the leading and advanced countries in providing the latest specialized training programs for children.
