Careem, the region's leading ride-hailing service, continued to spread smiles throughout the city by implementing a multitude of initiatives in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid.
For instance, Careem's local team chose to celebrate Eid in an unconventional heartwarming way, with the help of their captains, who drove around Beirut, distributing boxes of food to homeless on the capital's streets. Through this initiative, Careem succeeded in feeding 100 families, and driving smiles for a change.
As for the holy month of Ramadan, Careem showed its crucial role in the Lebanese society by giving back to the local community, through a special collaboration with "Tyeb El Eid"new initiative. Careem supported Tyeb El Eid, a store that gathers donations of clothes, shoes, and toys to donate to those in need, by being the transportation solution for the initiative.
In addition to these initiatives, Careem rewarded its top captains for their dedication and loyalty by organizing an iftar for them, in the spirit of Ramadan. The delicious iftar was also a way to thank the captains for helping Careem keep its services safe, reliable, efficient and affordable.
"Careem, which means to be generous in Arabic, was born with a simple purpose of simplifying and improving the lives of people," said Nour El Assaad, Careem's Marketing Manager in Lebanon. "Our Ramadan and Eid initiatives helped us highlight the character behind our brand, and keep Beirut smiling."
Careem wishes its customers and captains a Ramadan Careem and a Eid Mubarak.
