OnePiece Comes to the Middle East with Stylish Leisurewear for the Region’s Elite

    27 february 2013

Fashion trend popular with celebrities across the world makes its regional debut in Dubai

Yesterday marked the official launch of OnePiece in the Middle East as the much-talked about fashion trend comes to the region with a bang.

The famous all-in-one hooded jumpsuit has been designed to be the ultimate in comfortable clothing and is all about being loose fitting with soft, thick cotton fleece.  OnePiece customers in the Middle East can pick from a wide variety of colors and patterns, from stand-out designs such as a wearable American flag and a camouflage print to simple but elegant Black Velour or a Teddy Fleece in Navy Blue, meaning there is something for everyone.

The concept originates in Norway where on an early Sunday morning in 2007, three friends Henrik, Knut and Thomas, three Norwegians in their twenties first came up with the idea that would become the OnePiece, chillout wear that would be perfect for a lazy day at home or for hanging out with friends.

Six years later, the brand has propelled itself as an 'it' fashion trend and has been adopted by some of the international scenes most famous personalities. From fashion icons to athletes and sports figures, celebrities across the board have been spotted rocking the original 'onesie'. Some of the big names that have opted for OnePiece have included the likes of Justin Bieber, Brad Pitt and boy band heroes One Direction who now have their own 'Hands Made' line with the brand.

Famous celebrities throughout the Arab world have already been spotted wearing their very own OnePieces on such hit shows as Dancing With The Stars and Celebrity Duets , featuring big stars such as Mr. Lebanon himself Wissam Hanna, Tony Abou Joade who recently won Celebrity Duets wearing his OnePiece on stage and the lovely Ward El Khal and Maya Diab.

Michael Møller, International Brand Manager for OnePiece commented: "We are delighted to see how OnePiece has grown so rapidly since the brand's inception back in Norway. The idea is simple, it is cool, casual and comfortable for men and women which is why it works for so many people and has gained such a strong and loyal following."

"We are excited to bring OnePiece to the Middle East, it is a market that is increasingly fast-paced and forward-looking so we see this as a great fit for the brand. With OnePiece already being a big hit with celebrities and influencers in the region, we look forward to seeing great success here."

To mark the occasion, the official launch of OnePiece was celebrated with a glamorous night at Republique in the Address Dubai Mall, complete with dancers, elite fashion and welcoming celebrities from across the region who all showed their support for the brand, including Ward El Khal, Tony Abou Jaoude, Carla Haddad, Mirva Kadi, Hilda Moudaber Khalife, Hadia Sinno and Carolina de Oliveira.
