Miss Morocco -Nouhaila Lmelki, has been jailed for running over and killing two homeless boys in Marrakech on Saturday, September 8.
The beauty queen, fondly called 'Morocco's Barbie' has been refused bail by the court after she was charged with murder and excessive speeding.
Lmelki who is believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol lost control of her car and bumped into a tree where the two homeless children were sleeping.
The impact of the crash made the tree fall over the 15 years old boys killing them immediately.
The 20-year-old Moroccan was named Miss Universe of the World, 2018 in Lebanon. The court has scheduled the first hearing of Lmelki's trial for September 18.
