It is difficult not to fall for this sparkly 40 years old: Gloria Nasr, from Lebanon, has been living in Paris since 1995. This lady doctor, specialized in physical readaptation, has always been a sport person. She first practiced indoors, because of the war in Lebanon, but when she moved to Paris, she started cycling to work - about 50 km a day. "One day a friend asked me to go running with her, as she wanted to lose weight. From that day, I became passionate about running and I've been doing marathon after marathon and semi-marathon. I've only been running since 2002 but the Sultan Marathon des Sables quickly became a myth I just couldn't miss out on. I also take this opportunity to give some publicity to a sport project close to my heart: in 2012, I will be running from Paris to Beirut, about 50 km a day, which should take me 3 months and 20 days, with a day's break each week. My objective is to promote peace in my country and more generally in the Middle East."
