Miss Egypt for the universe Diana Hamed participated in Miss Universe 2019, which is the 68th competition since its creation in 1952, which took place on December 8, 2019 at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. This is the 36th time that the United States has histed the Miss Universe competition. At the end of the event, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe 2019 by former Miss Universe Catriona Gray as the third South African woman to win the title.

This year, ninety candidates from countries and territories from all over the world participated to win the Miss Universe title in a competition in which a new crown executed by Mouawad jewelry worth 5 million dollars was used.
