Amazon boss Jeff Bezos has entered an incredibly exclusive club. There's only one person in this club and it's highly unlikely to grow any time soon.
According to Bloomberg's Billionaire's Index, the CEO has become the first person in the world to be worth more than $200 billion (£150bn).
The eye-watering value came as Amazon's stocks soared on Wednesday afternoon (26 August) by 2.85 per cent to $3,441.85 (£2,600) per share.
That helped elevate Bezos' worth to around $202 billion.
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is hot on the tails of Gates, with his net worth to be valued at around $115 billion (£87bn).
The revelation comes shortly after Forbes unsurprisingly declared Jeff Bezos as the richest man on the planet in its annual Rich List.
