Rock band Metallica is to appear for the first time at Comic-Con in San Diego next week.
On July 19, the group will appear at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, sitting for a Q&A session alongside Nimrod Antal, the director of 'Metallica: Through the Never.' Also appearing will be Dane DeHaan, the actor who stars in the narrative portions of the movie, as well as one of the project's producers, Charlotte Huggins.
NYTimes.com reports that 500 free tickets will be distributed to the concert, a rarity at the popular annual sci-fi fan convention focusing on movies, TV and comic books. Comic-Con 2013 is being held July 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center.
