Serena Sefyan: The Lebanese Face That Opened Fendi’s New Era

    26 february 2026

When Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her debut collection for Fendi during Milan Fashion Week, the first face the audience saw was Serena Sefyan — a 20-year-old Lebanese-Armenian model born and raised in Lebanon.

No theatrics. No gimmicks. Just talent moving at remarkable speed.

Discovered on the last day of her senior year and signed by Local Vice Management, Serena’s rise was immediate. Campaigns with Gucci and Chanel quickly placed her on the global fashion map. By 2025, she was walking for Dries Van Noten, appearing in the Etro Resort 2026 lookbook, and stepping onto runways for Qasimi and Pronounce — all before landing the coveted opening spot at Fendi.

Despite the milestone, Serena described feeling imposter syndrome backstage — her heart racing, emotions colliding — until the countdown began. “3…2…1…Go.” In that instant, fear gave way to calm. Under the blinding lights, she felt something simple and certain: this is where I’m meant to be.

At just 20, Serena is only at the beginning. But major campaigns, credible runway credits, and opening Fendi during a pivotal season are strong indicators of a lasting career.

A Lebanese model commanding Milan at this level is still rare — and that’s exactly why Serena Sefyan is one to watch
