Lebanon is gearing up for another exciting moment in international winter sports as Mzaar Kfardebian prepares to host the 2028 Asian Alpine Ski Championships, bringing some of Asia’s finest skiing talents to the Lebanese mountains.
As the largest ski resort in the Middle East, Mzaar will once again put Lebanon on the map as a destination for world-class winter sports, welcoming athletes ready to compete across its slopes.
This upcoming championship also brings back great memories of 2022, when Lebanon previously hosted the event and local skiing star Manon Ouaiss made the country proud by securing two gold medals in slalom and giant slalom.
With the 2028 edition on the horizon, Lebanon has another opportunity to showcase its sporting talent, breathtaking mountain landscapes, and growing presence on the international skiing scene.
The countdown to 2028 begins. See you on the slopes! ⛷️
