Global Filipino star Marcelito Pomoy, known as the "man with two voices," has released the famous song "The Prayer" by Italian star Andrea Bocelli, with the latter's blessing. Pomoy also filmed it as a music video.

Pomoy chose to launch "The Prayer" as the lead song of his new album, as Bocelli has played a pivotal role in his musical career. This was the first song that brought him fame. Coincidentally, both Pomoy and Bocelli share the same birthday, September 22. Additionally, after Pomoy's successful performances of Bocelli's songs, Pierpaolo Guerrini, Bocelli's music producer, produced Pomoy's new album.

Pomoy is also preparing for his global tour, "Duet of Dreams," with a performance at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE, on December 22, 2024, featuring cellist Jodok Cello as a guest of honor. This concert, presented by Art & Culture and BRICS Entertainment, will highlight Pomoy's vocal talents and promises an unforgettable experience. Pomoy captivates audiences with his unique vocal range, blending classical and contemporary songs into an unmatched orchestral performance.

The Coca-Cola Arena concert is highly anticipated, marking Pomoy's first performance in the Arab world. His unique singing style and humanitarian efforts have inspired countless fans globally.

Born on September 22, 1984, Marcelito Pomoy is renowned for his ability to sing in both baritone and mezzo-soprano ranges. After his success in performing Andrea Bocelli's songs, such as "The Prayer," Pierpaolo Guerrini produced Pomoy's new album, which includes six cover songs and two originals, along with his new slogan, "DUET MYSELF." Pomoy gained fame after winning the second season of "Pilipinas Got Talent" in 2019 and placed fourth in the finals of "America's Got Talent: The Champions."
