ASHA Mandela's hair is more than 16 metres long. It's longer than a bus, and it has earned her the Guinness World Record for the globe's longest dreadlocks.
It also weighs 19 kilograms. Doctors say the weight of Asha's hair has caused a curvature in her spine, and the back of her neck has begun to collapse. If Asha doesn't trim those dreadlocks soon, she could be paralysed.
But the 50-year-old mother, who lives in the US, refuses to end her 25 year exile from the hairdresser.
