The final instalment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy has taken over £30 million at the UK box office in just 10 days. Avengers Assemble, released in May, took two days longer to cross the £30 million mark – its UK box office total now stands at £51.8 million.
The Dark Knight Rises is also proving especially popular amongst film buffs. Earlier this week (July 30), it was reported that regular users of the Internet Movie Database have already voted it the tenth greatest movies of all time.
