Talk show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres has been awarded the 2,447th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fam.
Ellen attended the traditional ceremony in Hollywood accompanied by her 82-year-old mother Betty and her wife Portia De Rossi.
The comedienne joked about the significance of having a star on the iconic stretch of pavement: "It's amazing because I spend my entire career trying to conduct myself a certain way making sure that no one walks all over me only to get to a point where people are going to walk all over me!"
