It was a media gathering at Terminal B on September 17th, 2014. This new resto-pub is spreading the word to inform people of fresh ideas which Lebanese are still coming up with. Location; Mar Mikhael, Menu; fusion cuisine...
The restaurant is like no other. 200 years ago, it used to be a stable for horses; you can still see that it was divided into separate stalls, but later, around 150 years ago it was turned into a house. The owners had a hunch and took their chances; they took this ancient house with all its wrecks and did a slight renovation yet maintaining its original image. The walls are still the same; no paints were used to alter the message. It has no ceiling, and therefore, the restaurant opens its doors in April and lasts until October or so... this way, it would surely be missed and customers would look forward to the re-opening every year. The managers have added to the mood the retro house music, funky music, to add a twist to the experience. Added to this, the food is superb, be it taste or presentation; all items on the menu, with all its variety, are either baked or grilled preserving health with virgin sauces for the salads. The bar serves fresh cocktails; frozen liquid nitrogen cocktails. The service is professional, and the managers are beyond welcoming.
Amongst many pubs, restaurants, and hotels which have opened this summer, and trust me, they are countless, Mr. Charlie Frem, the owner of Central Station and Garcias, had an exquisite vision which he had embodied in Terminal B. Antique, yet wit elegance and style. All the rest is for you to discover...
