Have your recovered from iPhone Day yet? Good, because it's just about time for another Apple extravaganza.
On Wednesday, Apple sent out invitations for its next event.
"It's been way too long," reads the invitation, seen below.
The event will be held at Apple's campus in Cupertino, Calif., on October 16. Apple is expected to unveil some new iPads at this event -- the company showed off its latest tablets at an event around this time last year.
Leaked photos show a thinner, lighter iPad with Touch ID. No current iPads are equipped with Touch ID, Apple's fingerprint-sensing technology. Hopefully we'llfinally get those gold iPads we've all been waiting for.
The company is also expected to announce new iMacs with clearer Retina displays. And Apple's new computer operating system, Yosemite, will likely be available for download around the time of the event. Last year, Apple released its latest operating system in conjunction with new iPads.
