Samsung's Galaxy S3 was named "Phone of the Year" at the T3 Gadget Awards in Britain, IT magazine T3 said.
The device's 4.8-inch HD display, eight-megapixel camera, 2,100 mAh battery and quad-core processor have already impressed customers, as the Korean company sold 20 million units within 100 days of its release.
Samsung and Apple were both nominated for 10 awards, but each walked away with just one. Asus' Google Nexus 7 tablet PC won the "Gadget of the Year" and "Tablet of the Year" awards.
