It's very rare that we see Rita Ora not sporting her signature matte red lips and platinum retro waves. But there was a time when she didn't look like a Gwen Stefanidoppelgänger.
When the British singer first signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label back in 2009, she wore pink lip gloss and big crimped hair that reminded us a lot of another diva (ahem,Mariah Carey). Ora eventually traded in this girl-next-door look for a more glamorous style complete with a better blonde dye job and grown-up lipstick finishes in nude and bright pink. However, many seem to think that she isn't the same without red lipstick.
So in celebration of the "How We Do" singer's 24th birthday Wednesday, Nov. 26, we dug up photos of Ora looking phenomenal without her famous red pout.
