The iPad Mini release date comes just a month after Apple unveiled the most anticipated mobile phone in history - the iPhone 5.
Analysts have said that Apple has been giving about 20 percent of the market to competitors by not having a smaller iPad. The company believed that consumers preferred larger screens before changing their stance.
