By now, most people on the Internet have heard of Mia Khalifa. She's the No. 1 ranked porn star on PornHub who has gotten death threats for wearing hijabs in her sex videos and having Lebanese-influenced tattoos. Some of her followers have claimed that she, like Kim Kardashian before her in 2014, "broke the Internet" in 2015. Khalifa, a 21-year-old college graduate, was also honored with a song.
Timeflies band members Rez and Cal wrote a tribute to Khalifa, appropriately called "Mia Khalifa," after the Lebanese porn star took the Internet by storm Tuesday, BroBible.com wrote. Part of the lyrics read: "Now let's get it on from New York to the Bay all the way to Lebanon. Sometimes you gotta make a decision/ Took her talents 'round the world/ Now she's ballin' like LeBron, aye."
The song has been played more than 114,000 times and has received more than 1,000 likes onSoundCloud. "MIA KHALIFAAAAA. She is my new favorite person as of January 7, 2015," one person wrote. "Was awakened to the beauty of this woman after this," another said.
Khalifa seems to be a fan of the song, having shared it on her Twitter page, while PornHub also shared it on Twitter and happily pointing out that Khalifa has her own tune.
