On the occasion of Christmas, KidzMondo, the first of its kind educational entertainment them park for children in Lebanon and the region, invited the children of Iraqi refugees in Lebanon on the 7th of January 2015 to spend a special day at KidzMondo Beirut. The event that took place in association with Al Kaldan Lebanese archbishopric, under the auspices of Archbishop Michel Kasarji, welcomed more than 120 Iraqi kids, offering them the chance to explore over 80 different activities in the city.
Within the educational entertainment frame of activities offered by KidzMondo, the children were divided into groups to ensure they all visit the varied sections of the city, experiencing every profession down to its tiniest detail. While they role-played with enthusiasm, overwhelming joy was seen on their faces, which have suffered enough war and exodus in their country of origin and passionately long to relive the joys of the holiday season.
The event included a celebration during which the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Mrs. Mirna Souaid said: "we hope that on this day we helped put a smile on the faces of these children and fulfilled, even in a small way, some of their dreams, may it return to their hearts the joy of life that hides the promise of a bright future, far away from the images of war and destruction." Adding: "children are our future and we are committed to offer support to as many as we can."
Archbishop Kasarji venerated KidzMondo's efforts in supporting Iraqi children, stating that " this institution gave these young kids the courage to face life and rekindled their confidence in a future they had given up hope on," wishing that this activity will encourage more companies to follow KidzMondo in supporting all children. He also thanked Mr. Ali Kazma, the Chairman of Kidz Holding for all the support he always offers to all associations.
Moreover, Kidz Holding plans to turn this event into a yearly activity at KidzMondo Beirut, a first step towards helping all the children who haven't had the chance to enjoy their simplest rights in life.
