Suri Cruise isn't your average eight-year-old. She wore heels when she was a toddler, and she attends award shows with her mother, Katie Holmes.

She's done more in her eight years on Earth than most people can dream of doing in their lifetime - and her famous father, Tom Cruise, has missed most of it, as an insider tells 'In Touch' it's been more than a year since the 52-year-old actor has seen his daughter.

"The long-distance father-daughter relationship has reached a critical point," the insider explains. "It's now been more than 540 days since Tom has seen Suri in person."

While Katie initially wanted Tom to be an "involved, hands-on dad" following their split, the 36-year-old actress has allegedly become frustrated after constantly seeing her child let down by her father time and time again.
